The 2017 scholarship opportunity is proving to be the most popular in a decade. Days before Friday’s deadline, the Education Foundation has collected about three times more entries than the final tally of last year.
College columnists can enter online and at no cost. The winning entry receives both a monetary award and an expense-paid trip to the 41st Annual Conference of the National Society of Newspaper Columnists June 8-11.
